100th Post~ Worth the Read!

I know the hundredth post should not have been 18 months in the making, but what can I say? :)

Anyway, I saved my 100th post for something very important! My pastor and his wife (aka VERY dear friends, Danny and Calley) are in the process of adopting and are raising money by selling aprons Calley makes. They are extremely cute and would make the best presents for any occasion. You could get a jump on Christmas shopping~ there are less than 150 shopping days left~ or something like that. You would be helping two of the most wonderful people fulfil what God is calling them to do.

You can find her aprons HERE. They are awesome!

Or you can visit HERE for a chance to win a $50 giftcard and pick you out an apron. :)

You can follow Danny and Calley's adoption on their family blog.
Thank you. :)

Flashback Friday

Twenty seven years ago today my best friend, Cristi, and her hubby, Todd, got married. I was honored to be a bridesmaid. :) Her maid of honor, also named Penny, is the one kneeling. I am the one standing next to the beautiful (and tiny) bride. Such a sweet day. No small feat to be married for that long now a days. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, CRISTI & TODD. Love y'all! :)

Five years ago today I was also honored to share in their daughter Casey's wedding day! She wanted to get married on her parents' anniversary. So sweet! That time, my daughter was the bridesmaid, but I got to serve the cake. :) HAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY, CASEY & CHARLIE.
(Sorry, I could not put my hands on a picture of your wedding.)

My first granddaughter, Rebecca, my hubby, Larry, and my best friend, Cristi. All share the same birthday! I took this picture at Larry's 50th birthday party, five years ago. Each of them deserves their own post, and will get one soon. This one is just a quick one size fits all
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THREE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE EVER!
I LOVE YOU,

Heartbroken

A dear friend of mine, Lisa, lost her precious mom this morning. She was a sweet, funny lady. Every time I saw her, she made me smile. She recently line danced at her granddaughter's wedding. What a precious memory that left Emily with! She and Emily already shared the same sense of humor. =) Mrs. Nell worked in our public library for many years and will be missed by everyone in our town. I will surely miss her. I was sick this morning when I found out. Please pray for the Arnold and Cater families. Thank you.
